Schwinn-ing

Yesterday, I restyled the outfit from this post, and voila! Inspiration. This time, I paired the striped turtleneck (which I'm getting quite a bit of wear out of considering I don't usually gravitate towards prints or patterns) with the best white skinny jeans ever (soft, fitted - but stretchy, but without outstretching - comfortable, opaque, and make your legs and your butt look good! If you're between sizes, I recommend sizing down), white sling-back kitten-heels, and my gorgeous white mother-of-pearl and crystal watch.

About the watch - this is one of the first pieces in my wardrobe that I had bought with my own money when I was 16, working retail at an arts and crafts supply store. I forget that sometimes, but I always feel a sense of pride when I use it to check the time. I loved it (and still love it now) because it looked like the Chanel that was then sought after, though one of my students recently told me it looks like a G-Shock. I asked him if I was cool now... :)

We've been enjoying spring-like weather this week, so we decided to go for a bike ride after work yesterday on one of the several bike paths in Rhode Island. Once the sun set, we went to Olive Garden for a hearty dinner and sweet drinks and dessert.

My beautiful, cream-colored Schwinn bike was a gift from A last summer, and is one of my favorite gifts to have ever received. It has that retro style and feel that I love, but at a much lower price-point than most similar bikes. Biking has since become one of our favorite hobbies. I can't wait for warmer weather so that I can ride more often and consistently!

What do you call it when your helmet matches your Converse? Schwinning. ;)

What have you been up to this week?
