Full disclosure—I’m posing this way in almost all of these photos only partly for the cute and cozy vibe and mostly to cover the gargantuan zit on my chin.
I wore this sweater out of the store when I bought it on Friday (and if you’re in Seoul and in need of a Zara, I highly recommend visiting the one in the Lotte Department Store, Konkuk University Star City Branch. Every sales associate was friendly and willing to help. So not the vibe in Gangnam or on Garosu-gil) and then wore it all weekend. It’s the perfect sweater—soft and cozy, thinner but waaarm, and tows the line between sack and slightly oversized/slouchy to hint at your figure but not your food baby. (This is the dream, people!) Pair it with leggings and over-the-knee boots (and bed head) and it’s the perfect thrown-together-but-still-put-together outfit.
I initially tried the dark grey and decided on the light, but might have to go back and pick up the dark (and the red, and the black...and the ivory).
Yesterday, I ate shrimp wonton noodle soup, dumplings, marinated cucumber, and Chinese broccoli, and downed plenty of Pu’er tea at a new favorite spot in Jung-gu, just before visiting my aunt and uncle who made us multiple servings of four varieties of jun, or Korean pancake (one of my favorite Korean foods). And anyone could hardly tell. :)
Update: since typing up this post, I have picked up the dark grey. And thank goodness I did as it was the last one in stock!
