I'm still laying in bed, listening to this on repeat, staring out the window, anticipating the steady snowfall that's been forecast for today. I love the sound of quiet that snow creates and am looking forward to walking out into a heaping of it, especially now that I'm starting to feel myself again after fighting a virus the past few days!
These photos are set in a warmer climate (and actually quite humid--you can see my curled hair drop as the post continues). We were down south for the holidays, see my NOLA travel diary here and here, and A and I spent one morning coffee shop-hopping and walking around downtown Ocean Springs.
I love this simple Ann Taylor top for its flattering cut and find the bow to be the perfect touch. These J.Crew jeans are one of my favorite pairs ever, mostly for the fit (I picked them up in a 24P), but also for the wash and copper threading and hardware. I love them so much that I've been scoping J.Crew and Madewell for similar pairs in lighter and darker washes. (Maybe even a ripped pair?) And, well, you already know how I feel about my Stuart Weitzman boots.
Thanks for reading my first style post of 2017! Happy snowy Saturday. x
