Beauty and the Beast holds a special place in my childhood heart, but when it comes down to it, Alice in Wonderland probably was and is my favorite Disney film; I've seen every version and variation. Even more, Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are a couple of my favorite novels. I can't describe to you the level of geeking out that therefore occurred when we discovered this themed cafe (and Queen of Hearts rooftop swimming pool), Miss Yoon in Wonderland in Yangjae-dong. A pointed out the 'Keep Calm and Follow the White Rabbit' sign and I lost it.
Yellow and red roses decorated the ceiling, from which Alice's legs were dangling, and corners, and Alice-style dresses in vibrant colors served as lamp shades. There was a large party of girls dressed as the characters having a tea party at a long dining table. Can you even. They serve food, but we opted for drinks--I had a strong 'iced cafe latte.'
Afterwards, we wandered along a stream and bike/walking path before heading home.
