Goodnight Macaroon are a brand that have been featured on several of the blogs and Instagram accounts I follow. They carry pretty, boutique-y pieces that are sometimes inspired by celebrity styles. Every Tuesday through Thursday, they hold a flash sale where select pieces are marked 50% off. When I spotted this Self Portrait-esque lilac lace dress in the sale, I immediately made my first purchase (I also picked up this white eyelet dress that I had been eyeing for some time).
Both dresses are pretty in person and fit well on my petite frame (I took a size S). The lace on the lilac dress is heavier and of better quality than I expected, and the trim along the bust and waist feels thick and secure. In fact, I find the dress to fit more flatteringly and comfortably without a bra, which peeps through the cutouts. There is a 'slip' attached underneath the skirt that I wish were slightly longer and a softer material.
My order took about three weeks to arrive, which was to be expected as the pieces ship from Hong Kong. I am a little less than impressed with their customer service/communication, however - I contacted Goodnight Macaroon about a price discrepancy (50% of $75 is not $44), but have yet to receive a response two weeks later.
Ultimately, I love the pieces enough that it was a worthwhile purchase. I'm trying to find any reason to wear them out!
