Sabrina's several mentions of the Laura Mercier Rose Gold Caviar Stick were what started and ended my research (here, here, and here - the swatches in the third post sold me). I trust her swatches as they are high quality and the truest to color - her skin tone, though several shades more tan, is the most similar to mine of the beauty bloggers I follow.
On her, it's the perfect rose gold; on me, it pulls slightly more peach, which I'm sure is due to my paler skin. It's still a beautiful shade that I'm happy to have added to my collection. I wore it in this post with a matte, neutral, mid-tone brown on the outer corners of my eyes and blended into the crease. I'm even more excited to wear it in the summer months on tanned skin!
Even better than the shade is the formula of the Caviar Stick - it couldn't have taken more than five minutes to swatch and photograph, but when I went to remove it with my current favorite eye makeup remover, I had to put in some effort. When I wore it out and about in the warm weather, it stayed put. If you also have oily eyelids, these Caviar Sticks are definitely one to try!
Another favorite eyeshadow stick is this one in 'Misty Rock', a taupe pink/plum with the most iridescent sparkle/shimmer, rivaling even Chanel eyeshadows. Another rose gold eyeshadow I love is the one featured in this post. Another Laura Mercier product I love is the original tinted moisturizer - nine times out of ten, it's what I'm wearing in the photos I look back on and think my skin has a healthy glow. I'm eager to try her blush in 'Lush Nectarine'.
