Sundays are our errands day, but this Sunday was too gorgeous to spend just running errands! Before our weekly grocery shop, we headed down to Pawtuxet Village to snap photos of the area and have brunch at The Elephant Room. The water glistened as it flowed under the bridge that runs through Pawtuxet, and vibrant chrysanthemum planters lined the ledges and sat in the window boxes of the shops and eateries. Mums are my mum's favorite flower, so I messaged her some of our snaps from today.
We discovered this gorgeous setting (which I'm fairly certain is someone's property...oops!) that overlooks the water, where I daydreamed of someday owning a home like the ones around.
I mentioned how cosy the off-the-shoulder sweater featured in this post is, but this one gives that one a run for its money! The high neck is perfect for snuggling into, and the material is soft, warm, and thick, without making you look 'chunky'. I might have to pick it up in pink!
Brunch was a ranchero crepe with a pot of floral white tea (to fit the theme) and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, and it was delicious!
Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by. x
