New In: Summer Style
I've acquired quite a few new pieces for summer recently that I wanted to share. With our upcoming move, I'm beginning to capsulize my wardrobe (in my own way) and pick up key pieces that I know will be functional through our travels and that I will love for years to come.
You can shop most of the pieces through the widget below. I'm slowly building my denim collection (see my favorite pairs here, here, and here) and have finally added a pair from Madewell. I'd been eyeing this dark-wash pair, which I'll get around to picking up, but opted for the perfect summer jean in fitzgerald wash (size 24). I first spotted these on Kelsey (who I'll mention again shortly) and then couldn't stop spotting them. They seem to flatter every figure and are aptly named as they are the perfect light wash for the summer months.
I'm loving Madewell at the moment. I rarely ever shop in-store, but for Madewell, I'll make an exception. After beelining for these jeans, I spent quite a bit of time mm-ing and ah-ing at every piece (the teacher discount is a blessing and a curse). I ended up walking out with the white cotton courier shirt (size xs, though I could have done with an xxs) and the striped whisper cotton v-neck tank (size xxs), both of which would pair well with the jeans and most anything else.
In July, we're driving down to Missouri for a rafting and canoeing trip with A's family, so I picked up two swimsuits to wear in the water and sun. One-pieces are my favorite style, so I picked up this figure-flattering striped one and this hot orange cut-out one.
I don't own very many pairs of shoes, so when I pick up a pair, I wear them out. This has been the case with these blank canvas mule sandals which are cushioned and comfortable, and these blush Jack Rogers sandals.
Not included in the widget but equally loved is this boater hat by Gigi Pip. Kelsey introduced me to the brand and Kitty's video sold me on the hat (I mention both ladies in this post). I wore it on our first trip to the farmers market of the season last Saturday.
Finally, I just placed an order with Outdoor Voices on Anna's recommendation including these tri-tone leggings and this slash-back crop, and received this Find What Feels Good tank in the mail today. I can't wait to wear them all to Orangetheory!
