I'm kicking myself that I didn't pick these up while we were in Germany last summer! Zoeva do the most aesthetic makeup brushes on the market (in my opinion); I was curious to test their quality. Though I think I'd be fine if their sole function was as filler props for my beauty-related posts, I'm pleased to report that these rose gold beauties perform well, too!

(Right to left) I picked up the 101 Luxe Face Definer, 221 Luxe Soft Crease, 228 Luxe Crease, and 227 Luxe Soft Definer. The brushes came individually packaged in matching rose gold boxes. It took about three weeks for them to arrive in Providence, which is pretty standard for international shipping.

After several uses, I experienced minimal to no shedding with the 101 Luxe Face Definer, which I use with my rms beauty "un" powder (review here). It's large and dense enough that I can powder my T-zone with minimal effort, and the tapered end allows for more precision with areas such as under my eyes and around my nose. The 221, 228, and 227 pick up slightly less product, but are otherwise comparable to my Sigma eyeshadow brushes in application and blending (I have the OG ones with MAC numbering). You can see these brushes in action in my weekend vlog (in between shots of Luna, IKEA hauls, and delicious meals)!

First impressions? All four brushes are soft to touch and have maintained their shape after several uses. We'll see how they hold up after being washed, but for now, I think they're great value for money! I'm interested to try the 102, 104, 110, 142, and some of the other eye brushes.

At the very least, you'll see them featured in my photos for the foreseeable future. :)

Have you tried Zoeva brushes?
