I wanted to write another beauty post as my current line-up features mainly style and lifestyle (see The Botanical Gardens 1 and 2, my Spring Workwear Essentials, and Five Things), but the New England weather has been so dreary that I decided to whip up this post instead to remind myself of brighter days.
Last Friday afternoon, A and I strolled through the East Side of Providence, where the houses are big and beautiful. I spotted this home with a cherry tree, lined with a brick wall, a perfect location to snap outfit photos.
If you find yourself in the area, stop by Prospect Park, one of our favorites, for a view overlooking downtown.
I wore my new Madewell tee - a plain white tee, but also the perfect white tee. It's not too sheer, the v-neck isn't too low cut, the sleeves are slightly fitted, and it drapes nicely, hitting at the perfect length. I also picked it up in grey.
I paired it with my new Articles of Society jeans, which fit like a glove. They stretch but don't sag, and are the perfect dark wash. I rarely wore jeans as it was difficult to find a pair that fit me the way I liked (I only had one H&M pair), but these are already my second pair by Articles of Society (I also have a pair in white - see them on me here). They do high quality jeans at a not-so-high price point. I topped the outfit off with a scarf A bought for me from Banana Republic Factory and some Alex and Ani bangles. One of my students said I looked "like spring".
How is your week going? x
