Romantic Fall Textures

How pretty is this top by Endless Rose? It was one of those love-at-first-sight instantaneous purchases, along with the gorgeous silk cami in this post and this post. I picked mine up from Sweet & Spark and it's also available here

Lace and silk are two of my favorite textures for fall--they look and feel romantic and even luxurious. Suede and cashmere are two of my other favorite, richer, textures. I love the concept of an all neutral or all black outfit with layered textures. Sometimes, as with this outfit, I opt for a pop of color. This gorgeous red suede skirt is one of my favorite pieces in my fall/winter wardrobe. It's an old one, but here's a similar faux-suede flared option in a gorgeous 'dark fig' shade, or this similar cut in beige, and this one in a deep blue shade is a stunner.

I wore this outfit to Gangbyeon Station. Immediately outside of the station is a walking/bike path that crosses the Han River from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Lotte World Tower (pictured above), the fifth largest building in the world. I'm pretty chuffed with myself over that photo!

And an update: this weekend, I ticked off the first of my end-of-year goals and cleaned out my closet, adding these high-waisted houndstooth trousers and these pants with a tapered ankle detail.
