How closely can you hold a camera to your face before it gets awkward?
Continuing with my spring theme (see my spring workwear essentials here), today, I'm sharing my favorite spring shades in beauty!
I've recently been shopping my stash and in doing so, I rediscovered this hot pot from Coastal Scents. Remember them? Back when beauty videos on YouTube were only becoming a thing, the OGs (original gurus) featured Coastal Scents as the budget babe's MAC. I had purchased several products from them, which I eventually passed on to my sister; this little shadow got lost in the mix. Since rediscovering it, though, I've been wearing it exclusively!
It's the prettiest shade of pink lilac with an iridescent shimmer and an almost duo-chrome finish - in some lights, it looks like a silvery, purple taupe, and in others, it pulls so pink that it looks red. It's an interesting shade for sure, and a complimentary one for those with brown eyes.
A shade I've been wearing on my cheeks is MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in By Candlelight, a golden rose (you know me and my rose golds - see what I mean here and here) that doubles as a blush and a highlight, and looks equally beautiful on pale and tanned skin. It was unfortunately limited edition, but MAC bring it back every now and again. Another shade I love that is not limited edition is Soft & Gentle.
