I think I may have been a flower in another life - I'm overcome with happiness whenever I find myself in a garden. (Remember the botanical gardens?) You can imagine my reaction when I learned that there is a tulip farm in Johnston, RI, less than a 20-minute drive from Providence.

We had rain all last week, so at the first sign of sunshine on Tuesday, I asked A to rush home after work to see the blooms. The tulips are anticipated to be in bloom for only two more weeks, and weekend admission is no longer available; a late Tuesday afternoon was the perfect time to visit.

It was also the perfect time to wear my peach CeCe by Cynthia Steffe shirtdress. When I spotted this dress online, I added it to my cart instantaneously. It's the prettiest shade of peach! I'm not sure if I could pull this off, but I think it would look cool over a pair of skinny jeans with the bottom half of the dress unbuttoned. The nude heeled loafers are an affordable Zara find, and are comfortable without sacrificing style.

Through discovering this dress, I discovered other pretty options in the CeCe by Cynthia Steffe line (which Nordstrom also carry at a higher price point), such as this ivory shirtdress, this sleeveless shirtdress (also in a pretty rose color), this drop waist dress, and this eyelet shift dress.
