What I Want For Christmas This Year

The self-indulgence of this post does make me cringe, but where’s the fun in being deep and selfless all the time? ;-) I’ve said my goodbyes to my students and colleagues for the holidays and am ready for a few weeks of self-care, and on that note, I thought I’d dream up a wish list of items I’d love to receive or gift myself this holiday!

My Instagram ‘one-liner’ is rather be wearing pajamas, and I’d say it’s about time for a new set. The first thing I do when I get home is change into pajamas, so it’s worth it for me to spend a bit more on a nice set that will last all the wear and washes.

One of my 101 goals (and for-always goals) is to read more, especially for leisure as young adult and classic literature are all I read anymore as a teacher. I’m the type that prefers having a book in my hand with a coffee table cover and pages I can flip, but I’m wanting the Kindle for its accessibility and convenience.

I’ve been wanting to gift myself a Patagonia for some time, and this one that Jess has been wearing on her Instagram stories looks all sorts of cozy.

These Gucci Marmont fringed leather pumps are my shoe of the moment. They’re even more beautiful in person—I keep daydreaming of all the outfits I’d wear them with, particularly in the summertime. For now, these sparkly & other Stories booties (that I scored at a discount) are holding me over.

On the bling theme, I’m coveting all the gold Bylia jewelry, including this necklace, this necklace, and these earrings.

I use my Thermos and Swell bottle every day. I’ve had my Thermos for a couple of years and while it still does the job, it’s starting to become a bit worse for wear. Yeti do a tumbler in pink, which would be a perfect and practical purchase.

What’s on your Christmas list?
