Winter Essentials

The Review I first mentioned Josie Maran's Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil in this post, and after a month of regular use, I can say that I love this stuff. Sure, it feels like grease when you first squeeze it out of the tube, but it is absorbed quickly and leaves your skin feeling balanced. As I mentioned in my previous post, it does wonders for your lips - A recently split both corners of his mouth and used this overnight; when he woke up, his lips were healed, so now even he loves this stuff. It's also great on cuticles - I did a number on a couple of my nails, but once I smeared some of the oil around them, the pain reduced significantly. The oil is so concentrated that you need the tiniest amount, even when moisturizing your face. It's a new winter skincare staple for sure!

When it comes to my hair, I can't be bothered. I wash it with whatever shampoo, occasionally condition, let it air dry, and comb it. When I had it cut over winter break, however, my stylist used some Moroccanoil products that smelled so divine, I had to pick one up. I went for the Moroccanoil Treatment, which leaves my hair looking shiny (but not oily) and feeling soft, smooth, silky, and hydrated. Another keeper in the beauty cabinet!

A style bitBy the way, tell me this skirt isn't the same one featured in this Chanel ad in Elle. It even comes with a matching top! Ann Taylor do great tweed, Chanel-esque pieces. I wanted to share this 'look for less.' Here are a couple others I like - skirt, dress.
